JLR Australia is recalling a handful of Range Rover and Range Rover Sport SUVs as their sunroofs could detach.
“Due to a manufacturing defect, the panoramic roof glass panel bonding may have insufficient adhesion. As a result, the panoramic panel could detach from the vehicle,” the company says in its recall notice.
“If the panoramic roof panel either partially or fully detaches from the vehicle there is an increased risk of injury or death to road users.”

While JLR Australia has issued a recall, it doesn’t yet have the parts to carry out fixes.
“Once parts become available, owners of affected vehicles will be contacted by Jaguar Land Rover asking them to schedule an appointment to have the panoramic roof side finisher removed and securely attached, free of charge,” the company says in its recall notice.
