Honda says its new ‘H’ emblem will be adopted across its lineup in the coming years.
Debuting on its 0 Series electric concepts, the borderless badge was originally created to be used on Honda’s electric vehicles (EVs) exclusively.
Now, Honda has confirmed the new ‘H mark’ will be rolled out to not only EVs but also “major” hybrid vehicles, starting with the brand’s next-generation vehicles to be introduced from 2027.
It’ll be “gradually” rolled out and will also be used at dealerships, in motorsport activities, and in marketing materials.

The new badge is said to be “two outstretched hands,” Honda claims, as well as being an homage to those used in the past.
While there was a trend in corporate branding in recent decades in which insignia became more three-dimensional, that now seems to be disappearing, with many car companies adopting flat and featureless logos – possibly so the badge can be illuminated on vehicles.
Overseas reports say the Prelude coupe and Super-One electric city car will be the last new models to wear the outgoing emblem.
Honda debuted its ‘H mark’ in 1963, and it has undergone several design changes over the years. The latest iteration arguably looks more like its original form, used throughout the 1960s.
