2027 Skoda Elroq and Enyaq: Updated EVs detailed for Australia

UPDATED 10/07/2026 11:30am: A spokesperson from Skoda Australia has confirmed local models will not feature connected services. See the supplied statement further down.

Skoda Australia has confirmed model year 2027 (MY27) changes for its Elroq and Enyaq electric SUVs, with plenty of tech and feature updates for minimal price rises.

Select and Sportline versions of the Skoda Elroq and Enyaq are $1000 dearer for MY27, while the Enyaq RS range is $1100 more – see our full price table at the bottom of this article for a full breakdown.

For the extra spend, Skoda has applied a number of the changes detailed for Europe earlier this year, but not quite all of them.

Entry-level ‘Select 60’ versions of the Elroq and Enyaq swap out the old 63kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) battery pack for a new 61kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) unit. Range and efficiency specifications based on WLTP testing will be confirmed in due course.

The Select 60 models also get larger wheels and tyres at the rear, getting a wider 255mm setup on both the standard 19-inch and optional 20-inch wheel options.

  • Traffic Sign Recognition added
  • Predictive Speed Limiter added
  • Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control added
  • Upgrade to Travel Assist 3.0 – Improves lane guidance and following of lead vehicle; and vehicle can now detect and stop at traffic lights and stop signs
  • Crossroad Assist AEB added
  • Upgrade to ‘One Infotainment’ Android-based infotainment system
  • Wired Apple CarPlay removed – Wireless CarPlay remains
  • MagSafe 25W wireless phone charging added

Some changes have also been made to options pricing, with the Enyaq Sportline 85’s available Ultimate Pack now $100 more at $5100.

Skoda Australia has made no mention of the new Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) or Digital Key functions confirmed for Europe and the UK. However, the brand has ruled out embedded connectivity in Australian-bound models for the time being, despite the rollout of the new Android-based operating system.

“Embedded online connectivity is not available for Australian vehicles, meaning features such as the in-car app store are not offered locally. While the updated infotainment system introduces a new interface and improved processing performance, functionality for Australian customers remains broadly unchanged,” said a Skoda Australia spokesperson in a statement supplied to CarExpert.

It’s also unclear whether Australian-bound models will get the updated automatic headlight sensor. Instead of just distinguishing light and darkness, the new Elroq and Enyaq will also be able to sense ‘twilight’ lighting conditions, automatically activating the daytime running lights and tail-lights in reduced visibility conditions such as in overcast weather, and at dawn or dusk.

The new Elroq Sportline also isn’t mentioned in the MY27 breakdown, though the previous 130 Years edition has been dropped from the price list. Stay tuned to CarExpert for further 2027 Škoda Elroq and Enyaq details as they’re announced.
